No company has more experience building gravel islands in the Beaufort Sea than AFC. We are the leading expert in the construction of gravel islands off Alaska’s northernmost coast. AFC personnel have completed the only islands producing oil in Alaska’s Beaufort Sea; Endicott, Northstar and Oooguruk. In addition Spy Island Drillsite was constructed in 2008, while Liberty Island was completed in 2009. Incorporating state of the art design and technology, these islands are enabling the oil industry to extend the realm of exploration and increase production of vital petroleum resources.
